Susangermany - Review “Perfect, but....” : We like the Mandarin Oriental! The staff is helpful, friendly ! The atmosphere is very nice! Just the housekeeping / room cleaning needs improvement. 2.15 pm is too late for cleaning and this was only after two reminders! It took only less than 15 minutes to clean, why not employ ONE more person for the short time cleaning?

Overall service in this hotel is one of the best ever experienced - from reception, concierge, pool, bar, breakfast.
Will definitely visit again for :
1. Location & view - when in Singapore, I like to be in the Marina area: close to some of the best restaurants&malls, close to the bay
2. Service / service in Mandarin Oriental is of a complete different and higher level compared to other 5* hotels. Very personal, efficient, of great quality
3. Lovely rooms - only downside: the beds are not that good (in my opinion, very soft)
4. Breakfast - one of the best hotel breakfast ever experienced with tremendous options & best quality & amazing service - only terrace to have breakfast is a bit of a disappointment (no real views)
5. Pool area - booked this hotel for its pool area : it is in the heart of Sing but a lovely place to relax. Service is unbelievable : always paying attention to the needs of their guests - they fill your glass every 15min with cold water - they bring around small glasses with smoothies, juices, ... Pool area is kept incredibly clean - manager does as great job.
6. Gym is amazing - all equipment needed; nice gym area; great service as well!
7. Overall a very beautiful hotel area - impressive building
